What is the call about?
The aim of the call is to support the digital development of micro and small enterprises in Budapest. With the help of the funding, businesses can introduce digital technologies, IT systems and tools that increase their level of digital intensity and support the digitalisation of their operations. The planned total budget available is HUF 2 billion.
Who can apply?
Micro and small enterprises that:
- have at least one completed financial year
- have a registered seat or establishment (project implementation site) located in Budapest
- have a very low level of digital intensity and commit to measuring and increasing their level of digital intensity
What can the funding be used for?
For IT developments, including the procurement of software, services, IT, networking and telecommunications tools required for the introduction and operation of digital technologies and services, including the following:
- procurement of software and services
- use of training and services required for implementation
- procurement of equipment (limited to the following types of devices: desktop computer, monitor, laptop,
- network-attached storage (NAS), router, mobile phone, tablet, multifunction printer)
- project management, mandatory information and publicity activities, and general overhead costs
Examples of eligible development goals include:
- remote access to email or business applications
- the possibility of holding online meetings
- ICT training for employees
- introduction of ICT security measures
- use of a company website or social media
- use of cloud services
- introduction of an ERP or CRM system
- online invoicing or web-based sales
Under this scheme, support may be granted for a complex development project that jointly includes at least three development goals and the related tools required for their implementation.
What amount of funding can be requested?
The amount of non-refundable funding that can be applied for ranges from a minimum of HUF 3,000,000 to a maximum of HUF 12,000,000. The aid intensity is 90%.
How long is available to complete the project?
The physical completion of the project must take place within a maximum of 24 months from the start date. The final deadline for physical completion of the project is 30 September 2028.
When can applications be submitted?
Funding applications are expected to be submitted between 5 May 2026 and 30 June 2026.
