1. District heating energy efficiency improvements (HUF 44 billion)
Aims to modernize existing district heating systems by reducing heat loss and increasing efficiency.
2. Transition of district heating systems to renewable sources (HUF 51 billion)
Replacement, modernization, or supplementation of heating systems with renewable energy sources.
3. Biogas and biomethane investments (HUF 40 billion)
Support for the production of circular, renewable energy carriers to help decarbonize transport and the gas grid.
4. Corporate energy efficiency investments (HUF 39 billion)
"Energy-efficient upgrading of corporate buildings and technologies to achieve at least 30% energy savings.
5. Reduction of geothermal drilling risks (HUF 10 billion)
Provides financial support to mitigate the risks of geothermal exploratory drilling.
6. Geothermal electricity generation (HUF 12 billion)
Support for investments that convert geothermal energy into electricity.
7. Geothermal investment loan fund (HUF 20 billion)
Preferential loan scheme for geothermal heat production projects.
8. Corporate renewable energy storage program (HUF 50 billion)
Helps businesses meet their own energy needs partially or fully through on-site renewable generation and storage.
9. Support for energy RDI (HUF 13 billion)
Support for technical research and development projects focused on new energy solutions.
10. Power grid development (HUF 123 billion)
Funding for grid capacity expansions and system upgrades to integrate renewable energy.
